In English: Bears are omnivorous. 70% of the bears diet is other than meat. Bears are the Finnish national animal, and they live everywhere except in Ahvenanmaa. The bears are 135-150cm high and they weigh 60-300kg. The bears move in the dark. The bears are Europe's biggest predators. The bear’s fur is soft and fluffy and therefore it makes them look plump. The bear’s ears are small and round. The bear’s fur varies from light brown to tawny. They hibernate from September to March.
Something interesting:
Bears can be called with different nicknames like kontio, mesikämmen and otso. For ancient Finn the bear was holy and valued.
