Saimaa Cycle Tour 11.-12.7.2025 and Saimaa Gravel Tour 13.7.2025

The Saimaa Cycle Tour 2025 will take place on 11-12 July 2025 and there are three different routes to choose from, depending on your fitness level. All routes are on asphalt roads, except for the 7.5 km Vuoksi Tour in Imatra for children, which is partly on a sandy cycle track.

The first Saimaa Gravel Tour will take place on Sunday 13 July 2025. Saimaa Gravel Tour will include two different routes of different lengths. Both routes will be mainly on sand or gravel roads and trails.

Lappeenranta Half and 10 km 31.8.2025

Lappeenranta Half offers runners the chance to experience the city’s beautiful scenery and unique atmosphere while pushing their limits and chasing personal bests. The course is the fastest in Lappeenranta — and one of the most scenic in all of Finland, running through stunning Saimaa landscapes. The event at Satamatori is organized by local sports clubs Lappeen Riento and Lappeenrannan Urheilu-Miehet.

Finntriathlon Saimaa 30.8.2025 and Saimaa MTB 31.8.2025

In autumn 2025, the Rauha–Ukonniemi area will host a four-event sports series under the name Saimaa Events. The lineup includes the Vuoksi Swim on August 9, the Saimaa Run on August 10, Finntriathlon Saimaa on August 30, and a brand-new mountain biking event, Saimaa MTB, on August 31.

The Holiday Club Saimaa area serves as the central hub for the Rauha events, offering an ideal setting for both trail running and mountain biking in beautiful natural surroundings. Read more about the full Saimaa Events experience

Finntriathlon Saimaa will be held as a Finnish Championship-level race, with a shorter distance also available. The bike course around Lake Saimaa is well-suited for both gravel and mountain bikes.

 Saimaa MTB is part of the MTB Marathon Cup organized by the Finnish Cycling Federation (Suomen Pyöräily ry) and also a stage of the Kultainen Kampi series. This new mountain biking event combines thrilling speed, the beauty of nature, and a strong sense of community — all set against the breathtaking scenery of Lake Saimaa.
